Reliable and up-to-date bus schedules and
student rider lists are an important administrative and
safety issue. Pocket eSchool makes bus schedules,
rider, and bus stop information available in a variety of
formats, as illustrated below.

Bus Lists become available by tapping the Buses button
on the Main Menu. The bus lists are categorized as AM
or PM buses. Here, the AM buses are illustrated. Along
with the bus number, the number of riders is also listed
in the Students column. |

There are three possible views of detailed bus data: 1) Students,
2) Stops, and 3) Stops/Students; they are shown
below. The view which is chosen
is determined by the selection of the Tap Link option.
By tapping the drop-down list box at the bottom of the
form, the desired view is selected. Once the view is
selected in the tap link drop-down, a tap on the desired
bus number or bus route will display the selected bus detail. |

In the Students view, all the riders are listed in alpha
order. Since this is an AM bus, the pickup time is listed for each student. With the Tap Link option
on this form, a student's contact information is a couple
of taps away! |

In the Stops view, all the stops are shown in
pickup-time order. The stop location and the number
of students expected at each stop is also listed.
Tapping on any of the stops on the grid causes
a list of students associated with this stop to be shown. |

This list shows the 8 students who are expected
to be at the selected stop. Note that the bus number, the stop
time, and stop location are also listed. From this form,
any student's demographic or contact information is
one or two taps away. |

In the Stops/Students View, stops and students are combined.
The stops are listed in time order and, below each stop,
a list of students who are associated with the stop
are listed in alpha order. In this example, the first
stop , 6:13 am Jones Parkway and Silverking (shown
at the top of the list) has 8 students listed. The
next stop, 6:15 am Jones Parkway and Lynne, is
listed after the students at the first stop; it has
5 students. |
